Red Cross Negotiates for Immediate Meeting with Armenian Soldier Who Crossed the Border
The head of communication programs at the Armenian office of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Zara Amatuni, stated in an interview with SHANTNEWS.am regarding the case of Arayik Ghazaryan, a soldier of the Artsakh Defense Army who has found himself in Azerbaijan.
“Our organization’s representatives are in confidential dialogue with the relevant representatives of the authorities on this matter. There has not been a meeting yet. However, the direction of the dialogue is aimed at having a meeting. In such cases, our organization begins to establish contact with the authorities to arrange for a meeting, and subsequently to conduct regular visits,” said Amatuni.
