The State of Transport in Armenia is Comparable to That of an African Country: Lapshin
Russian blogger Alexander Lapshin has addressed the issue of public transport in Armenia on his Facebook page. He noted that in the past, the "Kilikia" bus station had guides, a ticket office, and a children's room for traveling to other cities.
Lapshin was particularly surprised by the fact that passengers have to wait until the minivan is full before departing for other cities. He stated, "As a result, I was fatigued by these adventures. It reminded me of dark Africa, where I was a month ago. Just like in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, I waited for hours in a minibus before it moved. But Armenia is not Senegal!"
At the end of his post, Lapshin called for the extension of the Yerevan-Gyumri route to Vanadzor.
