Temperature to Rise by 2-3 Degrees as High Fire Risk Persists
In the next five days, a high fire risk situation is expected in the valley and pre-mountain regions of Armenia. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia reports that the weather across the republic will be precipitation-free from August 11 during the day, and from August 12 to 16.
The wind will blow from the northwest at a speed of 3-8 m/s. In the evening hours, gusts of wind are expected to strengthen to 20-25 m/s in the Kotayk, Aragatsotn pre-mountain areas, and Armavir.
The air temperature is expected to rise by 2-3 degrees during the day on August 14-15.
In Yerevan, the weather will remain precipitation-free from August 11 during the day, with evening gusty winds anticipated at 20-25 m/s.
