54-Year-Old Man Resists Arrest in Kotayk Province
On August 3, police officers from the Kotayk police department arrived at the residence of a 54-year-old man living in Abovyan as part of a criminal investigation initiated on August 2 by the Kotayk regional investigative department. The investigation pertains to hindering justice and using violence against a representative of the authorities.
The man exhibited unlawful behavior, refused to comply with the lawful demands of the police officers, and resisted arrest. The police had to use physical force to apprehend him and bring him to the Kotayk police station. He has been arrested, and the circumstances are under investigation.
