Two Vehicles Collide with Horse Near Hrazdan, One Vehicle Skids into Gorge, Injuries Reported

On July 23, at 04:12, the emergency service received information that an accident occurred on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, near the town of Hrazdan in the Kotayk region. Two vehicles collided with a horse, leading one of the cars to overturn, and assistance from rescuers was needed.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 42nd km of the M-4 highway section, the vehicles involved were an 'Opel Zafira' (driver: A.N.) and a 'Lada 21013' (driver: G.A., born 1990), which collided with the horse, causing it to overturn. Additionally, a 'Nissan X-Trail' (driver: G.A.) veered off the roadway and skidded down a gorge (approximately 5 meters).

Before the rescuers arrived, G.A. was hospitalized at the Hrazdan Medical Center, where the doctors assessed his condition as satisfactory. The rescuers disconnected the electrical systems of the 'Lada 21013' and 'Nissan X-Trail', secured the gas cylinder valves, righted the overturned 'Lada 21013', removed the horse from the roadway, and conducted roadway cleaning operations.
