Manvel Grigoryan Did Not Attend Court Session, Hearing Postponed by 2 Hours
Today, the court session regarding Manvel Grigoryan's case resumed. The defendant did not attend the hearing due to health reasons. Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan announced that documentation confirming this was presented.
Leading the session was expert, endocrinologist Lusine Mamikonyan. "A document was submitted indicating that Grigoryan could not attend the session due to health issues. Expert Lusine Mamikonyan was present at the court session," stated the judge.
He requested identification documents, which were provided. After that, the judge reminded the participants of the trial that when appointing the expertise, the court had specified the names of the experts that the defense had requested to involve in the examination. A total of four names were included in the commission.
Lusine Mamikonyan was asked whether she was informed about the purpose of her presence before the court and what the subject of the examination was. She noted that she has more than 10 years of experience as an endocrinologist and has no familial or other connection to the defendant.
One of the trial participants requested that the court ask the expert to present documentation proving her professional experience. The expert requested some time.
The session was postponed and will continue in 1.5 hours.
