If the Prosecution is So Confident, Let Them Prove It in Court: Nazik Amiryan on the Charges

Manvel Grigoryan was in the battlefield during the time when accusations of torture are being brought against him. This was stated by Nazik Amiryan, the wife of the former head of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, in response to journalists' questions today.

The discussion revolved around a photograph of a chained person, which Amiryan referred to, stating that at that time Grigoryan was in the battlefield, and she has no information regarding it. When asked who spread this information, Amiryan mentioned she was unaware.

Responding to ShantNews.am's question about the garden fire, Amiryan stated that she had no new information.

Amiryan herself has also been charged, and there was a trial concerning her case today. After the unfinished court proceedings, Amiryan also answered questions regarding the charges against her.

"Well, the judicial process is ongoing. If the prosecution is so confident that I did all of this, let them prove it in court," she said before leaving.
