Driver Who Struck 13-Year-Old Girl Released on Bail of 800,000 Dram

The court in Yerevan has granted a request by the investigator to release Vardan Yeghoyan, a 51-year-old resident of Kotayk region, on bail of 800,000 dram, following a closed session. He is suspected of having struck 13-year-old Arpine Gevorgyan with his Mercedes on July 18, resulting in her death. This information was reported by Shamshyan.com.

It is important to recall that on July 18, a fatal incident occurred in Yerevan. Between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM, Vardan Yeghoyan, driving a Mercedes with the license plate number 35 AS 299, ran over Arpine Gevorgyan at a pedestrian crossing near the Holy Resurrection Church. The child died on the spot.
