When Will Serzh Sargsyan Be Questioned? - Hraparak
Hraparak newspaper reports, "The parliamentary inquiry committee studying the events of the April War held a working session yesterday. Despite the fact that the National Assembly has been on recess since July 15, the committee will continue to function during this period. Our source stated that they are holding working discussions almost every day, and sessions once a week.
According to our information, the committee has received all documents related to April from the Ministry of Defense and is currently reviewing them. 'After studying the documents, we will decide whom to summon first, what questions to ask, and so on,' our source said. They have not yet requested any documents from the Artsakh Defense Army. It was also mentioned in yesterday's session that they might turn to the National Security Service for obtaining documents.
A list of potential "interrogators" has also been compiled, comprising 20-30 names. Notably, Serzh Sargsyan's name is absent from the list, despite being the Supreme Commander of Armenia during those days, and Bako Sahakyan is also not mentioned. However, there are names of senior current and former commanders, military personnel, and deputy ministers from both the Artsakh Defense Army and the Armenian Ministry of Defense, such as Lyova Mnatsakanyan, Seyran Ohanyan, and others. 'We still need to interview the direct responsible parties and participants; their testimonies will clarify whether we will invite new names, including Serzh Sargsyan,' it was noted.
