‘Fact’. Pashinyan to Hold Closed Meeting with Ambassadors
According to the ‘Fact’ newspaper, Prime Minister Pashinyan is scheduled to have a closed meeting with ambassadors accredited in Armenia in the coming days at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, the newspaper’s sources could not clarify the format of the meeting or the range of issues to be discussed.
The meeting is expected to be so confidential that even the relevant departments of the staff are not aware of it. There is information that the composition of the participants in the discussion was personally determined by Pashinyan, as he seeks to avoid unnecessary leaks. The newspaper has only been able to confirm that the Minister of Defense is among those invited to this mysterious consultation.
To verify the information, we contacted the press secretary of the Prime Minister, Vladimir Karapetyan, who, after some clarifications, stated the following: “Such an event is not planned in the coming week.”
