Venice Commission on Cooperation with Armenian Authorities
The Venice Commission appreciates its cooperation with the Armenian authorities and will present opinions regarding judicial reforms when the amendments to the Armenian Judicial Code are ready.
This was stated in a statement published on the Commission's website. "In the framework of fruitful cooperation with the Armenian authorities, particularly concerning judicial reforms, following a meeting on July 2, 2019, between the Minister of Justice of Armenia and the President of the Venice Commission, Gianni Buquicchio, the Minister announced that he anticipates the Commission's opinion on the draft amendments to the Judicial Code, which are currently being prepared in consultation with the Council of Europe, when the changes are ready."
