The head of the Information and Public Relations Department of Yerevan City Hall, Hovsep Kubatyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "The head of the Environmental Protection Department of Yerevan City Hall, Khachik Hakobyan, has submitted a resignation letter, which has not yet been registered.
Let me clarify right away that the resignation is not related to the activities of the 'Center for the Control of Stray Animals.' Mayor Hayk Marutyan has a positive assessment of the center's work."
