VIDEO: Why a traffic light is being installed on Myasnikyan Street

The Yerevan City Hall is installing a traffic light on Myasnikyan Boulevard, slightly below the Ritzar Hotel. Aurora News has received complaints from citizens regarding this decision by the city hall. They note that the installation of the traffic light will lead to serious traffic congestion and accidents.

Moreover, the fact of the traffic light installation has also become a widely discussed topic on social media. Users on these platforms are expressing their dissatisfaction with the decision.

It is worth recalling that earlier the spokesperson for the City Hall, Hakob Karapetyan, assured in an interview with Radio Aurora that a pedestrian overpass was to be constructed in the area where the traffic light is currently being installed.
