Concern from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Obtaining Schengen visas has become more difficult for Armenian citizens
Member of the National Assembly from the 'Bright Armenia' faction Ani Samsonyan reported that she has sent an inquiry to the Republic of Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the increased difficulty for Armenian citizens to obtain Schengen visas. In response, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that they are also concerned about this issue and that many citizens have recently contacted the Ministry regarding this matter.
It was noted that this issue has been raised by Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan during various meetings, and it will be discussed in the agenda of the upcoming 5th meeting of the joint committee on the facilitation of the visa agreement between Armenia and the EU.
