Metro Operations to Be Halted: One Train Stuck in Tunnel, Says Hakob Karapetyan
Hakob Karapetyan, the spokesperson for the Yerevan City Hall, announced: "The Yerevan metro reports that due to a power outage, electricity supply has been disrupted along the entire metro line. In certain sections, trains have become stuck in the tunnels. Power has since been partially restored, and the trains on the route have approached the stations, where passengers were evacuated. Currently, there is a train stuck in the tunnel between the Zoravar Andranik station and the Republic Square station. The situation is under control. Until the power-related issues are resolved, metro operations will be halted."
