Live Fire Exercise Held in Artsakh
As part of the semiannual summary inspections conducted by the Artsakh Defense Army, a live fire phase of a tactical exercise involving a battalion was held on July 10 at the 'Tigranakert' training ground. This exercise was carried out in coordination with one of the separate motorized rifle brigades subordinate to the Defense Army, with oversight by the Minister of Defense of Artsakh and Commander of the Defense Army, Major General Karen Abrahamyan, as reported by the press service of the Artsakh Ministry of Defense.
The reinforced motorized rifle battalion was brought to a state of combat readiness in accordance with the commander's plans, concentrated in a designated area, and prepared for upcoming combat operations. Engaging in combat against entrenched enemy positions, the unit halted the adversary's advance and launched a counterattack, ultimately restoring the frontline and occupying advantageous positions.
The exercises not only assessed the personnel's level of preparedness but also improved the coordination and interaction among units, enhanced command management abilities, and provided the personnel with additional field training, skills to operate standard weapons and military equipment, as well as fostering moral and psychological resilience.
