«Zhamanak». Russia and Kazakhstan Oppose Extension of Armenia's Car Import Privilege
The newspaper «Zhamanak» reports that during the Interparliamentary Assembly held in Moscow, the head of the Permanent Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration, Mikayel Melkumyan, raised the issue of extending the car import privilege for Armenia.
However, both Russia and Kazakhstan oppose the extension of this privilege. In Kazakhstan, there is a legal obligation to re-register cars imported from Armenia, and they do not want to hear about extending this privilege at all.
