Video: A ZIL Truck Upside Down in Gyumri

Today at noon in Gyumri on Musayelyan Street, a collision occurred between a ZIL brand water truck and a BMW passenger car. According to SHANTNEWS.am, as a result of the collision, the ZIL truck ended up upside down in the middle of the busy street.

The news outlet reports that the driver, 58-year-old Samvel Nikolyan, was taken to the Gyumri Medical Center with bodily injuries, where it was confirmed that he had sustained moderate injuries.

It is worth noting that the damaged ZIL water truck belongs to a construction company from near Moscow, which is currently conducting road construction works on Yerevan Highway. Minutes before the accident, the driver had left the construction site to refill the vehicle with water but collided with the BMW driven by Henrik Pososyán before he could reach his destination. The driver of the BMW was not injured.

Traffic police investigators were present at the scene, taking measurements to clarify the circumstances of the accident. As a result of the collision, Musayelyan Street remained closed in both directions for over two hours, and traffic was temporarily diverted through adjacent alleys.
