Burning Bridges Is Not the Best Solution to the Issue, Naira Zohrabyan
Ukraine rejected the observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). This was stated by NAIRa Zohrabyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, on her Facebook page.
She specifically noted: “On July 21, extraordinary parliamentary elections will take place in Ukraine, and yesterday the Ukrainian Parliament officially addressed PACE President Liliane Maury Pasquier and canceled the invitation sent to PACE for observing the elections. Since 1994, PACE has conducted observer missions for all elections in Ukraine, and Ukraine's diplomatic demarche against PACE is a step that, of course, is related to the restoration of mandates for the Russian delegation.
It is difficult to predict further developments in PACE, but in my firm belief, burning bridges is not the best solution to the issue, especially since you cannot even be sure whether you are on the right shore.”
