834 Million Dram Allocated for Robotics Laboratories in Schools
The Armenian government approved a decision today to allocate 834 million drams for the creation of robotics laboratories in schools. Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan noted that this decision aims to enhance the quality of education.
“You know that there are around 350 such laboratories already operating in public schools across Armenia, and studies show that these are good investments for the development of engineering thinking, which will have an impact on the economy in the future,” said Harutyunyan.
The draft decision on funding the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport stems from the necessity to implement engineering laboratories in Armenia's public schools.
