VIDEO: Car Falls into Voghji River

On July 3 at 05:57, a call was received by the 911 service reporting that a car had fallen into the Voghji River in the city of Kapan, Syunik province. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

A fire and rescue team from the Ministry was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a "VAZ-2121" car (driver: H.S., born in 1957) had veered off the roadway at the 12th km of the Kapan-Kovsakan highway and fallen into the Voghji River.

Rescuers used special equipment to retrieve the car from the river, where they discovered the body of H.S. inside and brought it to an ambulance.
