Notification Sent to 122 Judges: New Developments Expected
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that there are preparations for new processes within the judicial system. In particular, notifications are being sent to judges to attend a meeting at the Yerevan City Court of General Jurisdiction on July 11, during which members of the Supreme Judicial Council will be elected.
According to information received, notifications have been sent to 122 judges on June 27, giving them until July 6 to withdraw their candidacy for membership in the Supreme Judicial Council.
As of yesterday, no judges have submitted requests to withdraw from candidacy. Specifically, it has been reported that judges Davit Balayan and Ruben Vardazaryan from the Yerevan City Court have expressed interest in becoming members of the Supreme Judicial Council.
