Armenian Company Exports 58 Tons of Apricots Under Quarantine to Russia
Over 58 tons of apricots from Armenia have been transferred to Moscow under quarantine. According to Rusarminfo, this was reported by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor).
Representatives of the organization that imported apricots to Russia failed to inform on time about the transfer of the quarantined goods. Furthermore, the products were not subjected to quarantine inspection,” stated a representative of Rosselkhoznadzor.
This fact is noted as a violation of the law on “Plant Quarantine.” The importer has been fined 30,000 rubles.
