Body of a Woman and a Letter Discovered in Yerevan

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a suicide incident occurred in Yerevan yesterday, June 29. Around 09:50 AM, a duty group of doctors from the 5th emergency station in Yerevan notified the Nor-Nork police department that they had responded to a call at an apartment on Gayi Avenue, where they discovered a woman’s body.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the operational group of the Nor-Nork police and the investigation team of the Investigative Committee of Armenia for the Avan and Nor-Nork administrative districts arrived at the specified address.

While the forensic expert was working at the scene, police and investigators found a letter in the apartment, which read: “Do not blame anyone for my death. I am satisfied and grateful to my children. I cannot bear the pain anymore. I am also grateful to my neighbors, who treated me like a beloved mother. Farewell, from your loving mama,” along with the date 28.06.2019. Preliminary findings by the forensic expert indicate that no signs of violence were found on the body upon external examination.
