Stabbing in Voskayask Village of Shirak: Two Young Men Hospitalized

Two young men, born in 1991, were recently transferred to the Gyumri Medical Center from Voskayask village.

According to Armen Khachatryan, the deputy director of the hospital, one of the young men was admitted with a stab wound to the left flank and is undergoing surgery, while the other suffered a stab wound to the lower third of his left forearm, which is bleeding.

Shirak region prosecutor Karen Gabrielyan informed us that a criminal case has been initiated under Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, and an investigation is ongoing.

“All necessary actions are being taken to clarify all circumstances of the incident and the identity or identities of the individuals who committed the crime. There is already a suspect within the operational body's radar, and all actions are being carried out to locate this individual,” said the prosecutor.
