Photos: Cement Truck Falls into Sand-Covered Pit in Yerevan
During the night, a cement-filled truck fell into a sand-covered pit on Shiraz Street in Yerevan, resulting in a blown tire.
Naturally, the truck driver contacted the Ministry of Emergency Situations, where they reported that they did not have the appropriate equipment to extract and move a truck of such weight from the pit. Subsequently, the company that owns the truck undertook the extraction of the vehicle from the pit. However, the truck was damaged during the extraction process.
Traffic police arrived on the scene but also stated that they were unaware of who had dug the pit and left it without any warning signs. Currently, the company, which has found itself in this unfortunate situation, does not know whom to turn to or from whom to demand compensation for the damage sustained by its truck. First and foremost, the company intends to contact the city hall.
