Child Fallen From Multi-Story Building in Akhalkalaki Transferred to Yerevan
A child has fallen from the fifth floor of one of the multi-story buildings on Aghmashenebeli Street in Akhalkalaki. The child was home alone while the mother was at work, reports jnews.ge.
The 7-year-old underwent a medical examination at the regional hospital in Akhalkalaki. According to doctors, the child has a broken hip and requires surgical intervention. No other internal organs were damaged.
On June 21, the child was transferred to Yerevan. The child has only sustained fractures and is in normal condition. The appropriate medical care was provided at the Akhalkalaki hospital, but since the child is a citizen of Armenia and receiving treatment in Georgia would involve significant expenses, they were transferred to Yerevan.
