If Necessary, We Will Invite Serzh Sargsyan – MP
The commission investigating the circumstances of the April War will hold its first meeting today, during which the agenda will be clarified, said Tigran Karapetyan, a member of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee, in a conversation with reporters in parliament.
Karapetyan noted that if necessary, everyone, including the former president, will be summoned for questioning.
“We have no constraints in summoning anyone, whether present or former officials. We will examine the entire process. If there is a need to invite Serzh Sargsyan, we will do so. Let’s not speak in assumptions now. I believe our counterparts in Artsakh are also interested in getting answers to all questions related to April. This has also been stated by the spokesperson of the President of Artsakh; we have no issues regarding this,” Karapetyan pointed out.
