Drivers in Vanadzor Prepare to Block Main Streets of the City

In Vanadzor, tensions are rising. As reported by Armtimes.com, striking drivers declared a protest early in the morning, starting at 7:50 AM at Hayk Square. They are demanding a meeting with the governor of Lori and the mayor of Vanadzor to discuss solutions to their grievances.

So far, only the mayor of Vanadzor has met with the drivers, while the governor of Lori has yet to engage with the protesting citizens. Initially, officials from the governor's office claimed that the governor was not in the city and would only meet the drivers at 5:00 PM. However, that meeting did not occur, and the governor suggested that a few individuals come to his office to discuss the situation. The drivers are insisting that the governor personally come down just a few meters to meet with them in front of the governor's office.

The drivers' patience has worn thin, and they are currently preparing to block the main streets of the city.
