60-Year-Old Man Reports Assault by Village Mayor in Lori Province

In the investigative unit of the Spitak Police Department, materials are being prepared regarding the complaint filed on April 29 by 60-year-old Martik Sahakyan, a resident of Yerevan. This information was reported by SHAMSHYAN.com.

The outlet informs that Sahakyan reported to the police that a dispute had occurred in the village of Khngoyan, Lori Province, between him and 61-year-old Varuzhan Hambardzumyan, a resident of the village, during which Hambardzumyan struck him several times. According to G. Shamshyan, Hambardzumyan is the head of the Khngoyan community, and the altercation was related to personal matters. Spitak police summoned the village mayor, who was released after providing an explanation about the incident.
