Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Former Deputy Mayor David Ohanian's Son Hospitalized

On April 29th, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. According to Shamshyan.com, around 07:40, 21-year-old Roland Ohanian, residing in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado with the license plate 60 DO 060. He lost control of his vehicle while transitioning from Isakov Boulevard to Sebastia Street, crashed into the curb stones, then struck a stone fence, continued on, collided with an iron electricity pole, and overturned.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan present at the scene, the driver was assisted first by passersby and then by the emergency medical team from Yerevan's 1-03 service, who arrived promptly, provided initial medical assistance on-site, and subsequently transported him to the “Astghik” medical center.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, the driver is the son of David Ohanian, the former head of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district and former Deputy Mayor of Yerevan.
