The newspaper "Joghout" reports that three judges of the Yerevan City Court of General Jurisdiction—Nelli Baghdasaryan, Harutyun Manukyan, and Davit Grigoryan—had resigned from addressing the issue of the preventive measure for Robert Kocharian, who is accused of undermining the constitutional order, for various reasons.

Recently, a request was filed to the Ethics and Disciplinary Issues Committee of the General Assembly of Judges of Armenia concerning the conduct of these judges, prompting the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against them. The committee has reviewed the matter and initiated proceedings, sending the case to the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) for a decision on whether to hold the judges accountable or to reject the committee's request.

The head of the press and public relations department of the SJC, Arman Khachatryan, confirmed our information, stating that they have received the request from the Ethics and Disciplinary Issues Committee of the General Assembly of Judges of Armenia.
