Ingested Large Amount of Pills with Suicide Intent

On April 20, at 14:32, the Emergency Services received a call that a resident of an apartment on the 4th floor of building number 30 on Minsk Street in Yerevan had locked themselves in and was threatening to commit suicide, requiring rescue services' assistance.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that one firefighting unit was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that the aforementioned resident (A.K., born in 1981) had ingested a large amount of pills.

Rescuers opened the apartment door and discovered A.K. lying on the bathroom floor.

The rescuers carried the citizen out of the apartment and approached the ambulance, which transported them to Armenia Medical Center. The victim's health condition was assessed as moderately severe.
