Emergency Ministry to Receive Over 60 Vehicles
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia will enhance its fleet with more than 60 vehicles from Japan and Russia in 2019.
According to a report by Armenpress, this was announced by the Minister of Emergency Situations, Felix Tsolakyan, during a conversation with reporters.
"At the beginning of 2019, the Japanese government provided 10 off-road vehicles equipped with all technical capabilities to Armenia under its assistance program, as well as 18 modern fire trucks of the Mitsubishi type. In August, we are also expecting 22 more fire trucks from Japan and 26 KamAZ vehicles, a testament to Armenian-Russian friendship," the minister noted.
He stated that these additions will allow them to take their old and worn-out vehicles out of service.
