Russia and NATO Completely Halt Cooperation

Russia and NATO have completely halted cooperation in both civil and military areas. This was stated by Alexander Grushko, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The official noted that NATO itself has abandoned a positive agenda in its relations with Russia. He deemed the North Atlantic Alliance's decision to sever normal working ties on military matters as absurd, pointing out that the relationship between Russia and NATO also affects Europe's security.

According to the agency, in recent years, there has been unprecedented activity of the alliance near Russia's borders. NATO explains this by its intention to curb Russian aggression.
