Large Fire at a Furniture Production Facility in Yerevan: Emergency Level 'BIS' Category 1 Declared
Today, on April 12, a large fire broke out in Yerevan. Around 06:05, the emergency services received a call reporting a fire at a furniture production facility located near one of the houses adjacent to the road from the Argavand intersection to Zvartnots International Airport.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an emergency level 'BIS' category 1 was declared at the scene. The photojournalist reported that, thanks to the prompt actions of firefighters and citizens, the spread of the significant fire that had started at 83 Isakov Avenue was contained, and the fire was completely extinguished afterward. A large quantity of wooden goods, the roof, and other items were burned. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the fire.
