Truck Crashes into Tree, Topples Concrete Column: Traffic Halted in Area
Today, April 10, a serious traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 06:30, the driver of a DAF brand truck with license plate 231 SO 12 veered off the roadway on Jacques-Yves Cousteau Street while driving from the Heroic Fighters Street in the Erebuni administrative district towards the popularly known 'Cold Waters' route. The vehicle crashed into a tree and then continued forward, colliding with a concrete electricity pole, toppling it, and partially blocking the roadway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, preliminary reports indicate that, fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries as a result of the accident.
The road in the specified area has been temporarily closed for several hours due to the fallen concrete pole, which has rendered traffic impassable. The Traffic Police are investigating the driver's identity.
