Armenian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Artak Davtyan Visits Frontline in Artsakh

As part of the military cooperation program between the two Armenian republics, from April 5 to 6, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan, visited the Defense Army of Artsakh. Accompanied by the Minister of Defense and the Commander of the Defense Army of Artsakh, Major General Karen Abrahamyan, the Chief of Staff visited the permanent deployment sites of military units located in the southern and central directions, as well as the frontline.

During the visit, particular attention was paid to issues concerning the effective organization of cooperation between units and military bases, as well as matters related to the coordinated actions of the troops.

On the second day of the working visit, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic and the Commander of the Army visited the frontline of one of the units operating under central command, familiarizing themselves with the operational-tactical situation, the completed and ongoing engineering and fortification works, and inquiring about the socio-living conditions of the stationed personnel.

At the conclusion of the visit, the results recorded in the combat preparedness and logistical and technical support of the units were summarized, and further cooperation plans were clarified.
