Examination of Robert Kocharian's Appeals in the Court of Appeals to Continue on April 9, Kocharian's Address Expected

Today, the examination of the appeals submitted by the defense team against the first instance court's decision to extend the detention of Armenia's second president Robert Kocharian for another two months concluded in the Court of Appeals.

After the hearing, Aram Orbelian, a member of Kocharian's defense team, announced that the examination will continue on April 9, at which time objections will be presented.

Robert Kocharian was present at today's court session but did not make a statement. According to his lawyer, it is expected that he will express his position regarding the appeals submitted by his defense team during the session scheduled for April 9.
