Special Investigative Service Attempts to Summon Mihran Poghosyan for Questioning Again

On March 22, it became known that the Special Investigative Service (SIS) had invited Mihran Poghosyan for questioning; however, he proposed to be questioned via video conference as he is currently abroad. The SIS rejected this offer, citing that such a procedure is not provided for in the Criminal Procedure Code.

Yesterday, information reached the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper that the SIS has summoned Mihran Poghosyan once again as a witness. Whether he will attend the questioning remains unknown. In any case, it cannot be ruled out that due to his refusal to appear for questioning, there may be a need for detention and a warrant for his capture to be announced.

Twelve days have passed since Poghosyan was first invited for questioning, and the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper approached the SIS regarding this matter. In response, the SIS stated that Mihran Poghosyan has not indicated when he will appear for questioning.
