Arman Tatoyan Demands Clarifications from the Acting Minister of Culture

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, stated on his Facebook page:

“I spoke with the maestro immediately after the news about Konstantin Orbelian's dismissal from the position of director of the Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet was published. Considering that the issue pertains to the protection of the maestro's rights, I have decided to initiate a discussion process. On Monday, an official letter will be sent requesting clarifications from the acting Minister of Culture regarding the grounds and reasons for Konstantin Orbelian's dismissal from his position.

At this moment, I have taken note of the public clarifications provided by the Ministry of Culture and the acting Minister.”
