Emergency Situations Ministry Warns of Blocked and Difficult Roads
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of March 27 at 00:00, there are blocked and difficult-to-navigate roads across the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for heavy vehicles and difficult for passenger vehicles.
The Sotiq-Karvachar road (fog) and the Dilijan winding roads (for heavy vehicles, fog) are difficult to navigate. The inter-community roads in the Ashotsq region of Shirak Province, as well as the roads connecting the villages of Melikgyugh, Charjakis, Dzoraglukh, and Ttujur in Aragyugh Province, are also obstructed.
In the area known as 'Meghru Sar' in Syunik Province, as well as in the towns of Kajaran and Goris (fog), there is black ice on the roads from Lanjik to Mastara, Sevan to Martuni, and in the Aragats region of Aragatsotn Province.
Drivers are advised to use only winter tires.
