Major Car Accident in Yerevan: One of the Two Injured in Critical Condition, Doctors Report
On the evening of the previous day, around 10:30 PM, 22-year-old Hovhannes Harutyunyan from Armavir city lost control of his Opel Zafira, license plate number 35 XQ 827, while driving on Isakov Avenue. The vehicle veered off the roadway, collided with basalt curbs, and subsequently crashed into an iron power pole.
According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, who reported from the scene, the driver was found outside of the vehicle by bystanders and both he and his passenger sustained injuries; they were transported to Astghik Medical Center.
The police are working to ascertain the identity of the injured passenger.
