Car on Fire: Rescuers Come to the Aid

On March 19, at 15:25, the "911" service received a report that a car was on fire near the hospital in Gyumri, Shirak Province (near the railway).

A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had erupted in a "UAZ" vehicle parked near one of the shacks on Gandilyan Street.

The fire was contained by 15:37 and extinguished by 15:47. The interior and cabin of the vehicle were damaged. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

Earlier, at 14:15, the "911" service received another report regarding a vehicle on fire on Gayi Boulevard in Yerevan. A firefighting unit was also dispatched to this scene.

The fire was contained by 14:24 and extinguished by 14:34. The engine compartment of a "BMW-318" was completely burned. Again, there were no injuries reported.
