Blizzards and Black Ice on Some Roads in Armenia: Ministry of Emergency Situations

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of March 3, at 08:20, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads across Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass, the Artik-Alagyaz, and the Berd-Chambarak highways are closed.

The Sotk-Karvachar and Kajaran-Meghri highways are experiencing difficult travel conditions.

Black ice is present in several places on the inter-community roads in the Aragatsotn region, including Chknagh-Dzoraglukh, Arai-Vardenut, Kuchak-Tzaghkashen, and in the Shirak region's Ashotsk area.

Blizzards are occurring on the Goris-Sisian highway and in the Ashotsk region of Shirak.

Snowfall is noted in the Aragatsotn, Vayots Dzor, Kotayk regions, at the Sisian-
