Fog, Closed and Difficult Roads: MES Issues Warning

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of March 1 at 00:00, there are closed and difficult roads in the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyat Pass is closed.

The Sotk-Karvachar road is closed for trucks with trailers.

The Berd-Chambarak road is difficult to traverse.

On the 17th to 20th km of the Stepanavan-Vanadzor road in the Lori region, in the "Spitak" curves and in the section of the M-2 highway known as "Zanger," there are patches of black ice.

Snow is falling in the Gegharkunik and Syunik regions.

There is a blizzard in the section called Saravan-"Zanger."

Fog is present in the towns of Yeghvard, Abovyan, Garni in the Kotayk region, in Ashtarak in the Aragatsotn region, in Goris city in the Syunik region, and in the area known as "Meghruli Sar."

Drivers are advised to travel only with winter tires.
