Fatal Hit-and-Run in Yerevan: 56-Year-Old Citizen Dies
A fatal hit-and-run occurred in Yerevan on February 25. Around 10:00 PM, 23-year-old Arayik N. struck 56-year-old Alexander Sokolyov, a resident of Shinarar street, while driving his Nissan car with license plate 192 AP 61 on Halabyan street. The driver did not flee the scene, calling for an ambulance from Yerevan's 1-03 emergency services and assisting in transporting the injured man to the 'Armenia' Medical Center.
According to reports from Shamshyan.com, around 1:25 AM, the 'Armenia' Medical Center informed that the victim had died in the intensive care unit without regaining consciousness.
Driver Arayik N. works as a delivery person at the 'Kaizer' supermarket, while the deceased was a shoemaker.
