Tragic Incident in Kapan: 80-Year-Old Woman Found Hanged with Note Nearby
A tragic incident occurred in the Syunik region on February 17. At around 15:00, the Kapan police department received a report of a suicide taking place in an apartment on H. Avetisyan Street in the city of Kapan.
According to Shamshyan.com, police and investigators discovered that 80-year-old Svetlana A. had taken her own life by hanging herself using a flexible rubber cord from the door of her bedroom.
According to sources, police and investigators found a note in the house that read: “Do not blame anyone, I am going to be with my boys.” The investigator has seized the note, and various examinations have been scheduled, including forensic medical and handwriting analyses.
