Araik Harutyunyan Visits Director on Day 15 of Hunger Strike

The Minister of Education and Science of Armenia, Araik Harutyunyan, visited director Hovhannes Galstyan, who has been on a hunger strike for 15 days in front of the Matenadaran.

Galstyan wrote on his Facebook page, "On February 17, on the 15th day of the hunger strike, I had an unexpected and pleasant meeting with Araik Harutyunyan during a gathering of our supporters and an outdoor concert. The minister came to urge me to end the hunger strike and to understand the issue in depth. Thank you."

It is noteworthy that Hovhannes Galstyan began his hunger strike to demand funding for his film "My Grandmother’s Hair." The issue is with the Ministry of Culture, which, however, does not acknowledge it.
