Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Injuries Reported
The Traffic Police's Department for Investigating Road Traffic Incidents is preparing materials regarding a major car accident that occurred in Yerevan on February 15.
According to Shamshyan.com, around 1:30 AM, at the intersection of Vardanants and Republic Streets, a collision occurred between a Toyota Land Cruiser with license plate 31 OS 104, driven by 22-year-old Kamo Martirosyan, a resident of the Saritagh neighborhood, and a Mitsubishi with license plate 35 MR 501, driven by 30-year-old Narek Margaryan, a resident of Byron Street.
As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, N. Margaryan was taken to St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center with bodily injuries, while the Toyota veered off the roadway and ended up in a pedestrian area, colliding with a wall.
